Appearance or personality?

Everyone in the world has a differnt prefence of what they look for in a person or what is more important to them. in my personal opinion i think that personality is more important because it is the person you are going to be around or want to spend most of your time with. yes, appearance is important in some cases but at the end of the day do you want someone that you arent going to be happy with and are just with them for their looks? personality is very important because you want to be able to relate with them on a personal level or be able to be happy around that person and get a joy out of it. laughing constantly is something i like to look for because it makes me happy, i like a person who has a fun, out going personality to make me fun and outgoing myself. liking a person just for their looks cant overall make you happy. there is many other things to a person than just appearance which is why you need to look beneath that and see them for who they are and what kind of personality they have. for example, does their personality match yours? are they funny, shy, outgoing, but at the same time you also need to think to yourself what you are so you can find a person with close of the same personality so you get along. if you have an outgoing personality chances are you are not going to want someone who is shy because they wont talk much when you talk all the time. as for showing that i think personality is more important than appearance in a picture, i would take a shot with someone laughing to show their outgoing personality that matches mine. from that picture you can see life in the photo and you can basically tell right off the bat that the photo is full of laughter and personality. if i saw a picture with someone laughing and smiling i would think that person is outgoing, i would also see another person next to them and that would show me that they both like each others personality and have an intrest in outgoing personality, if someone was more intrested in looks their photo would be based offs someones face. for example, a zoomed in picture just on their face with no expression to show their looks. by seeing this, you could tell that appearance is more important to that person over personality. it all depends on how you would like to take the picture or the reality of it is personality or appearance more important to you? everyones personal prefrence is different so it just depends on how that person feels about it and what they would like to make out of it with photography. but for me if i had the choice of appearance or personality i would choose personality, just because that is more important to me.
